Following discussion at the annual meeting, the board decided to continue the current policy of enforcing the covenant restricting signs primarily with regard to signs that advertise businesses or commercial interests. The board is reluctant to strictly enforce the covenant with regard to signs that carry non-commercial messages such as those promote school programs, community activities, or political candidates. We wish to enforce this covenant responsibly while still acting in the best interest of residents. If you or a contractor doing work for you places a sign on your lot that promotes a business, you may expect a letter or phone call from a board member directing you to remove it
